Paula Champagne is an attorney, representing companies and management in employment law matters. Paula is a partner with Littler Mendelson in San Francisco, the nation's largest employment and labor law firm. 

Paula specializes in employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, accommodating disabilities, leaves of absence, employee handbooks, personnel policies, and workplace violence.  She enjoys advising employers regarding the employment relationship with the goal of reducing risks of litigation.  Paula also believes that claims of harassment and discrimination can be prevented, and frequently speaks to employer groups on these topics.  She also provides seminars to managers on "how to" topics such as how to hire, evaluate performance, document, discipline, and discharge.

Paula received her law degree from Santa Clara University, magna cum laude, and graduated from California State University, Long Beach, cum laude, with a degree in English.

Paula is a member of the San Francisco, California, and American Bar Associations.  She also is on the Board of Directors at Stepping Stones Growth Center in San Leandro, a non-profit agency which serves the developmentally disabled.
